Riley was surrendered to a shelter because her family could no longer afford to keep her. She has Type 1 Diabetes and will need a home that can provide her with her daily insulin and dietary requirements. Aside from that, Riley is a super sweet girl...she loves everyone! She can't get enough attention and loves to play! She currently lives with other dogs and cats and is fine with all of them. She does enjoy the company of other dogs and plays with them often. She does very well with kids, too! She is very eager to please and will sit when asked. She also loves playing with toys.

Jack was given away by his owners. He has done well with other dogs but he does want to chase the cats. Jack would do best in a home without young children. He can be a little nervous to come up to you but as soon as you start petting him and giving him attention he loves it!

Skip has been with us for several months now. He was running as a stray for several months and no one was able to get their hands on him. Unfortunately, Skip was hit and badly injured by a car. Our group decided to take on responsibility for him. Both the legs on his right side were badly broken and wounded. He had surgery on his rear limb to repair the fracture and stitch the laceration. His front limb required 10 weeks of bandage changes every 3-4 days. It was a long road, but he was worth it! He does have some permanent deformities in his front foot. Skip got so used to having to injured limbs, he will sometimes run on two legs! He does fine with other dogs and ignores the cats! He is crate and house trained. We do want him to go to a home without young children.

Cookie was surrendered because her family just didn't feel they had the time for her. She can be a little shy of strangers, but is very food motivated and warms up quickly. Cookie is still very much puppy....she loves to play with toys and other dogs. She walks great on a leash and is crate trained. As long as her foster mom takes her out every few hours, Cookie will not have any accidents in the house. She also ignores the cats in her foster home!

Sadie is very full of energy and personality! She can be a bit of a talker when she wants your attention! She does well with the other dogs and cats in her foster home. She is crate trained, but her foster mom does have to stay on top of making sure she goes outside to potty!

These girls are a very friendly, social group. They are used to being around other dogs and cats. They are an active breed, not meant for apartment life or long days on the couch. They will need an active home, where they will receive training and lots of exercise.
