Welcome to HCPAP!

Hampshire County Pet Adoption Program is not a shelter, but a foster organization. Our rescue is run by a group of dedicated volunteers that have opened their lives and homes to pets in need. Until they find their forever home, all of the pets in our rescue are fostered in the homes of our volunteers.

Founded on October 1, 1999, HCPAP has specialized in dog rescue. We are based around Winchester, VA and frequently take in dogs in the surrounding VA and WV areas.

You can visit us and meet our rescued pets during Adoption Hours at PetSmart on Legge Blvd. in Winchester, VA every other Saturday. Take a look at the pets we have available for adoption and if you have questions or are interested in adopting please contact us!
